Eligibility for staff travel benefits is determined by the Staff Travel Policy of SriLankan Airlines. Please refer to the People Administration and Engagement Policy Manual for detailed information. Your entitlement is also available in Charika under “My Profile” > ‘Ticket Balance”. Depending on your eligibility, your dependents shall be entitled for staff travel benefit. If you are a former UL employee, your staff travel entitlement is mentioned in your final letter received at the point of your exit from the Company.
Standby status or subload means that staff travel passengers do not have confirmed seats on a flight but are instead placed on a waiting list. They can board the flight only if there are unoccupied seats after all revenue passengers have been accommodated. This can lead to uncertainty and potential delays in travel plans, as employees may need to wait for an available seat or try for another flight if their desired one is full. Boarding priority shall apply when accepting staff travel passengers to a particular flight based on the number of seats available.
Yes, there are often several restrictions and rules associated with staff travel benefits. If you are traveling on UL, all guidelines mentioned in the Staff Travel Policy shall apply. If you are traveling using a ZED ticket on another airline, please refer to the “Travel Info” page related to the particular airline in myIDTravel for guidelines to be followed. It is recommended to familiarize yourself with the information available here to avoid unnecessary inconveniences during your travel.

No, only online payment is acceptable. The types of bank cards acceptable by each airline are displayed at the end of the booking flow to select your preferred mode of payment. Visa and Mastercard are acceptable by most Airlines.
You may try one more time and ensure card details are entered accurately. If not, please check with the card issuing bank whether your card is compatible with transactions that are not real-time. If the card is only compatible with real-time transactions please try using another card for the payment.
Refund requests must be made through myIDTravel. The refund will be processed by the ticketing airline according to their refund policy. Please refer the “Travel Info” page in myIDTravel and select your preferred airline to view further information. Refunds of tickets issued by other airlines shall not be processed by UL Staff Travel or Finance.
This is the EJ tax (Embarkation tax in Sri Lanka) that applies when you purchase a ticket on another airline if your flight originates from CMB. This is not applicable for tickets issued by UL.
Kindly contact HR department to amend names according to the passport and ensure its accuracy prior to making a booking on any airline. Once a booking has been made, you shall not be able to do any amendments in the issued tickets.
AS does not facilitate infant bookings through myIDTravel. The process is mentioned in FlyZED.info. Tickets are not required for infants traveling within the United States. However, if the employee is traveling internationally, they will need to go to the Alaska Airlines ticket counter for infant ticketing. Applicable taxes shall be paid at the time of ticketing.
According to AS, the passport is not needed for a domestic flight.

IndiGo does not facilitate infant bookings through myIDTravel. Infants shall be added as a special service request at the time of airport check-in in accordance with IndiGo policy and applicable rates. Rates (inclusive of all taxes and fees) as at August 2024 are $3 for domestic sectors and $5 for international sectors as advised by IndiGo.
On IndiGo children and adults are charged the same fare.

The Travel Partner is allowed to travel on MH only if he/she is accompanied by staff.
After clicking on “Finish” click on the “Proceed to external provider” button. This will redirect you to a new page to enter your card details and complete the payment.
Check your junk/spam mail folder. If the ticket is not received within few minutes, this could be a ticketing error. Qatar Airways has enabled automatic reversal of payments for such instances. Check with your bank for confirmation of reversal. You may re-do the booking to obtain the ticket. This process has been advised by Qatar Airways.
